Around this time last year, I participated in Preptober, the October planning stage before November’s National Novel Writing Month aka NaNoWriMo.
Every year, NaNoWriMo-ers all over the world challenge themselves to crank out a 50,000-word novel in 30 days.
Writing is such a solitary activity, but with NaNoWriMo you feel a little less alone.
Participants track their word counts, cheer for each other, and share tips/advice in person and on the net. With COVID-19 , I’m sure there will be fewer in person.
